Custom siRNA Synthesis

siRNAs are a class of double-stranded RNA molecules that play a role in the RNAi pathway, which interfere with the expression of specific genes and complementary nucleotide sequences by post-transcriptional degradation of mRNA. siRNA can be used as a tool for studying single gene function in vivo and in vitro, and siRNA has attracted attention as a potential therapeutic agent due to its ability to inhibit specific genes in many diseases.

Our siRNA is a double-stranded RNA molecule consisting of up to 30 bp with a 2 nucleotides 3' overhang and purified by HPLC; siRNA concentration > 97%

  • Delivery: Freeze in a 2 ml screw cap

Although the siRNA oligonucleotide is stable in a 4 °C solution for up to 2 weeks, it is recommended to store the siRNA solution at -20 °C. Aliquots should avoid repeated freezing and thawing. The recommended storage concentration is above 20 μM. The siRNA oligonucleotide stored under the above conditions is stable for at least 6 months. Fluorescently labeled siRNA oligonucleotides must be kept in the dark.
